KAYOKA AT CHAMINADE SECONDARY SCHOOL FOR TEACHING PRACTICES

I am Kayoka, a student at the University of Livingstonia pursuing a bachelor's degree in education science, and I am doing my teaching practice at Chaminade Secondary School, which is located in the Northern Region of Malawi. My teaching practices are going so well and are very enjoyable in educational terms, and socially I am exposed to students, supporting staff and teachers of different cultures across Malawi; this teaches me and develops my teaching career.

Chaminade Secondary School also provides CPD (Continuing Professional Development) for teacher professional development, and I was so amazed looking at the topics like DISCIPLINE, THE ROLE OF CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT, CONDUCT OF A TEACHER TOWARDS THE COMMUNITY and CAUSES OF BEHAVIOURAL PROBLEMS IN CLASSROOM. The few mentioned topics provide the way I have to handle students and associate with the community to fulfil the goals for the teaching and learning process.
